Our topic focuses on Minors on the Internet, aiming to give parents better control over their children’s online activity. The goal of this app is to provide features such as blocking explicit content, setting time limits, tracking locations, and more to ensure a safer digital experience for minors.

During the design process, I followed Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines to create a user-friendly and intuitive interface. Along with two other team members, we conducted research to highlight the issue, demonstrate its impact, and present our solution.

Our proposed solution is a parental control app that allows guardians to monitor and manage their child’s internet activity effectively. For example, a parent may not want their 8-year-old encountering explicit content on Google or social media. This app would give them the ability to filter and restrict such content, offering a safer browsing experience.

Below is a slideshow presenting our research and findings.
